To promote empowerment of Beedi workers in rural areas.

The course aims to provide a structural analysis of the complex relationships between informality, gendered relations of power and poverty. It also provides researchers with an enhanced understanding of qualitative and quantitative methods on gender, poverty and the informal economy. This course will be an opportunity to discuss and debate on the ongoing issues in conceptualizing and measuring poverty, women empowerment and gender.

This programme seeks to create awareness andbuild knowledge of the participants on specific schemesrelating to providing legal services to poor, marginalised, weaker sections of the society, including assistance in applying for schemes towards reducing their vulnerability to labour exploitation.

The programme aims to acquaint the young participants from different universities with the knowledge, importance and prospects of skill development in enhancing employability and entrepreneurship of youth. After completion of master degree course they are supposed to take up different career options this programme will enrich their understanding of skill development, enhance their capabilities and enable them to play larger role for the skill development of youth of the nation.

The programme aims at enhancing the understanding of the participants on the process of labour reforms in India. It would orient the participants to have an understanding on the key features of various labour codes.

The course aims at equipping conciliation officers to appreciate the contemporary industrial relations scenario and nature of issues for conciliation along with developing behavioural skills required for effective conciliation.
